Placing Google AdSense on your Website

This guy's check says 132K from Google AdSense

This morning I registered for Google AdSense, for this blog…

Great, what is it?  Well, it’s a way to get paid, for doing a mininiscule amount of work.  Basically, you go to Google, and click on Advertising.  It will then ask you if you want to set up a Google AdWords, or AdSense account.  This difference is this…AdWords you pay for to help drive traffic to your site.  AdSense pays you, for placing random ads on your site…when someone clicks on an ad, you get paid.

At this point, I don’t envision falling off my new stack/mountain of money…however, everything on the internet is about small, incremental income.  Just like the phone company, the electric company, etc…it’s all about the pennies that add up to dollars when nobody’s looking.

AdSense are the little ads you see on lots of websites…simple little offerings that people can click on…once they click, you get paid.   This is just the tip of the iceberg as far as affiliate programs are concerned, the OG of affiliates if you will.  I am also setting up affiliate programs through Amazon and GoDaddy, but for some reason the codes won’t work on this blog when you click on the icons.  I’m sure I’ll get it figured out soon…

Once the ads are up and running (1-2 days), I’ll start giving you all status reports.
